What programs so you use to edit the photos?

 Photoshop is the best program to use but this is very expensive, and I can't afford it.  To edit the pictures I use GIMP and PAINT.NET and the creative Kit in Picasa  which can all be downloaded for free and are good alternatives to Photoshop.
